The next new media type should be virtual food.
By use of electrodes inserted into the brain and mouth (which would be connected to neurons in the brain), people can put in an application into a device, connect the electrode apparatus (which is part of the device) to themselves and select an exotic type of food or drink to try.
Although, the virtual food would not provide any sustenance, it would allow for people to expand their pallet and perhaps want to try the real thing.
Potential users of this new media type would be customers at restaurants. The customers could try a digital sample of the food before they order (the menu would probably be a miniature computer that electrodes available for customers to use), as to ensure they do not have to return the actual--physical--food dish when it comes, ultimately saving time and money for the restaurant and customer.

I like this idea. Sounds like a very useful thing for the restaurant business. I think it would also be helpful in loosing weight. You can try any food you like without worrying about the consequences of gaining weight. I am sure it would be widely used by doctors in fighting the obesity. I like the idea. Two thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteThis idea is extremely interesting. I personally try to eat healthy but find myself eating the same healthy meals every single day. The reason I do this is because most healthy meals don’t taste all that great so I have found a small group of meals that I really enjoy and have pretty much stuck with it. This idea would really help me out.
ReplyDeleteAlso have you ever been to a restaurant and stared at a menu for 10 minutes and still not have a clue what your options are? Well this idea can help. You can go to their website and sample all of their options and come ready to order once you get to the restaurant.
This is AMAZING! It always takes me about 25 minutes to read through the whole menu like 100 times. I like making sure I order the best thing available. This would make the process so much easier!!!
